Ecballium elaterium
Squirting Cucumber. Amazingly perennial and totally bone hardy in well drained soil with a little cover from wet in winter. Rough sea-green sculpted and silvered leaves (particularly fine in this form) on wandering stems to 1m or more. Yellow flowers followed by exploding INEDIBLE mini 'cucumbers' from July to frosts. Kids love it. Seeds around so you should always have it.
