Edgeworthia chrysantha ‘Red Dragon’
A Daphne relative from China making a small to medium, rounded, deciduous shrub up to about 1.5m tall. Densely clustered, scented, orange-red flowers in nodding heads at the tips of the naked branches in late winter or early spring. Each individual flower is clothed on the outside with silvery silky hairs. A beautiful plant for any reasonable, well drained soil.
