Escallonia bifida

One of the finest shrubs for late summer and autumn flower, this makes a large dense evergreen shrub with glossy dark-green foliage. Large panicles of pure white flowers cover the foliage late in the season, providing a feast for bees. Requires the shelter of a wall away from mild areas.
