Euonymus myrianthus ‘Dianmu’ NJM 11.016

Found on Leigongshan, Guizhou at about 2000m asl, this was a large evergreen shrub to about 3m high with very attractive slim, lanceolate, leathery foliage; a far more elegant improvement over cultivated plants of this species. Vivid-yellow waxy fruits open to show orange-scarlet seeds. This should be perfectly hardy, especially with some shelter. Dianmu was the wife of Leigong, the Thunder God.
