Eurybia (Aster) divaricata
A species aster from N America, with a frothing mass of small white daisies on contrasting dark-purple stems over coarsely toothed heart shaped foliage in late summer/autumn. One of the very first of its kind to flower, in August/September and going on into October. Extremely hardy, for sun or part shade and very tough in dry shade where it is used widely as ground cover. 60cm.
