From Tajikistan, this is extremely striking in flower, with a broad complex branched inflorescence of umbels of yellow flowers on a very sturdy thick stem up to 1.5m tall. Foliage is composed of multiple broad linear leaflets, nothing like F. communis, for example. The whole plant is aromatic, especially when foliage is young. For a well drained sunny site.
