Ficus carica ‘Sultane’

Large pear-shaped dark blackish-purple fruit with particularly delicious red-tinted flesh, this fig produces good crops outside locally here in the Cotswolds. As ever, better crops will come from being planted against a warm sunny wall. Also known as 'Noire de Bellone'.
