Fragaria chiloense ‘Charval’

The Sand Strawberry is a coastal species from the West coast of both North and South America and forms spreading patches of excellent, glossy, thick-textured, evergreen foliage on pink petioles. A very good low growing ground cover for sun or part-shade. Occasional white flowers in summer. Makes patches 10cm high by approx' 40cm across.
