Fuchsia magellanica ‘Arauco’

A relatively new cultivar, of delicate appearance with the very dainty, slim, tri-coloured flowers smaller than average. A form of this generally rather hardy species with the flowers a typical red-pink at the very top, with white sepals and exserted stamen protruding from a deep-violet corolla. Very similar to the cultivar 'Lady Bacon', but more delicate, with smaller leaves and flowers and darker violet corolla. A medium sized shrub for sun or semi-shade, flowering potentially from June to October.
