Hamamelis x intermedia ‘Feuerzauber’ (‘Magic Fire’)

A fine old cultivar making a vigorous shrub with strong ascending branches. Leaves are large and rounded and the medium to large flowers are bright coppery-orange, suffused red, seen in mid-winter. Good autumn colour. For any well drained good soil.
