Hamamelis x intermedia ‘Jelena’

A very fine Witch Hazel raised in Belgium, with large softly hairy foliage turning orange and scarlet in autumn, followed by dense clusters of large yellow flowers, suffused copper-orange, on the bare branches in the depths of winter. Looks fantastic bathed in winter sunlight against a dark background such as Yew. Any reasonable soil.
