Large, long exotic looking leaves on strong stems are topped by large heads of almost pure white spidery flowers in late summer, each with the palest yellow centre and a subtle sweet fragrance. This flowers easily for me if overwintered under glass and summered outside after the last frosts have passed, though the species is actually much hardier than that and has survived here in the ground for a while now. Deciduous outside, but otherwise evergreen. From Northern Burma.
