Hedychium spicatum – from Tibet

A relatively recent wild find of one of the hardiest and most reliable of all Ginger lilies, but in this very distinct smaller growing form the flowers are in a dense head and are slightly yellow tinted at maturity in late summer; so different as to appear to be a different species. Attractive bright red seeds cling to orange seed capsules. For good soil in sun or semi-shade. Height 1m.

Pot size: 2L
