Heracleum lehmannianum

A huge and truly spectacular Hog Weed from C Asia and perfectly legal to plant in the UK, apparently with no severe reactions (it certainly has no effect on my skin or others). Huge horizontal plates of creamy-white flowers up to 3m high on very stout branching stems in summer, over truly substantial grey-green textured foliage, a joy in itself. Extremely bold! An easy and very hardy perennial.
