Hesperoyucca (Yucca) whipplei

Known in the USA as 'Our Lords Candle', which sums up the vast inflorescence quite nicely. A fine foliage plant, with pale blue-green, narrow foliage radiating out from the centre. The flower spike needs a few years to appear, but when it does it is truly a sight for sore eyes. Thousands of scented white flowers, sometimes edged purple, on a huge scape up to 6m high! Well drained soil in full sun.
