Hoheria sexstylosa ‘Pendula’

A slightly pendulous form of this vigorous, upright, perfectly hardy, evergreen large shrub or small tree. The dark green foliage is slim, willowy and sharply toothed on slightly pendulous outer branches, smothered in August/September, later than some, with clouds of fragrant, starry white flowers. Not a hugely pendulous form, but a usefully late flowering addition to gardens.
