Hydrangea aspera ‘Mauvette’

A more compact selection, with lacecap heads a uniform lilac-mauve, borne in July. Smaller in all its parts than most aspera, with neater foliage and inflorescences to 15cm across. Subsequently easier in sunnier conditions than some forms of H. aspera. A hardy shrub to about 1.5/2m.
