Hydrangea ‘Garden House Beauty’

A sister to 'Garden House Glory' this was raised at the same time. A small shrub to just over a metre, this is best grown on acid soils. Not because it won't be perfectly happy on alkaline soils, but because of the intensity of the vivid blue lacecap flowers in summer, set against foliage that develops purple tints at flowering time. Flowers are pink on alkaline soils. Sun or semi-shade, with reasonably even moisture.
