Hydrangea serrata ‘Cap Sizun’

A relatively new variety from Brittany, this has lacecap heads in a beautiful shade of clear light blue or pink, depending on soil acidity, the sterile florets having particularly serrated edges. Foliage turns to rich maroon tones when the flowers are out and then bright red in autumn. For semi-shade. Fairly drought tolerant. Height approx 1.2m.
