From an original collection near Dali, Yunnan, this is probably this species, with large scented cream flowers followed by Star Anise-like (inedible) fruit clusters on a large evergreen shrub. Glossy evergreen leathery foliage, fragrant when crushed. For a reasonably sheltered position.
