Iris confusa ‘Martyn Rix’

Really very different from what most people regard as an Iris, with superb foliage. A tall evergreen clump former with gorgeous pale blue, orchid-like flowers in May over masses of arching, glossy, elegant foliage held on bamboo-like stems to 1m or more. A very exotic looking foliage plant, even without the flowers, making large clumps. Part shade or sun, ideally with at least a little shelter.
