Lagerstroemia ‘Sarah’s Favourite’

A white flowered hybrid Crape Myrtle, being a cross between L. indica and L. subcostata var. fauriei, bringing hardiness and growability for Northern climes. Growing to 6m tall this makes a small tree or large multi-stemmed shrub, depending on initial pruning, with a vase shaped crown. Large heads of white flower in late summer or early autumn are seen without issue in Southern UK at least. The highly attractive patchwork bark comes in shades of orange-brown and beige and the orange and scarlet autumn colour is potentially superb. Drought tolerant. Sun.
