Lespedeza thunbergii ‘Little Volcano’

A new introduction from the USA of a plant originally collected on the Ryukyu Islands, Japan. This clone is distinctive in that it holds itself up well, rather than sprawling. Branches grow upright and then arch over like a spewing volcano, covered in Oct with a huge profusion of purple-pink pea flowers. Very valuable for late colour. Hardy. 2m tall. Sun and well drained soil.

Pot size: 2L
