Lonicera hispidula

A very drought tolerant hardy honeysuckle from the West coast of N America; the seed for these was gathered in the Siskyou Mts of SW Oregon. A not overly rampant evergreen to semi-deciduous twining climber to perhaps 6m if given support, with grey-green softly hairy foliage and terminal and axillary clusters of pink flowers in summer, followed by red berries. Easily pruned to keep much smaller.
