Lonicera x tellmanniana
A hybrid of the American L. sempervirens and the Chinese L. tragophylla, this is one of the finest Honeysuckles. Masses of flowers; rich coppery-yellow, red tinted in bud in large clusters at the end of the shoots in June and July. A plant for semi or full shade, this thrives on north walls/fences or in the shade of trees etc. Happy in almost all soils. Hardy.
