Magnolia ‘Black Tulip’

A superb and relatively new hybrid from New Zealand, showing very rounded goblet shaped flowers of a most intense port-wine red on the bare branches in spring. This colour is much darker and more intense than M. 'Vulcan', which is one of the parents. An compact and upright small tree to about 4m tall, most suitable for small gardens.

Pot size: 2L
