Magnolia ‘Butterflies’

Praised by the Americans as one of the finest yellows to date, but possibly a bit paler in the UK under our conditions. Still a lovely small tree bearing bright yellow flowers with fairly narrow tepals on the bare branches in early spring. Should be good on limey soils.
