Mahonia aff. moranensis

This was originally collected in southern Mexico at approx' 2200m asl and is most probably an attractive form of M. moranensis, differing from the other form I sell by having thicker textured, darker green, glossier, slimmer leaflets. Scented golden-yellow flowers in early spring on a compact medium sized evergreen hardy shrub for sunny or semi-shaded conditions. drought tolerant.
