Melanoselinum decipiens

Magnificent 2m trunk forming exotic looking umbellifer from Madeira producing large terminal heads of mauvey-tinged white flowers. Usually monocarpic but seeds itself nicely. Sun or semi-shade and a relatively sheltered spot. Thought to be tender, but survived some fairly cold winters in my very cold garden. Can flower at smaller sizes in dry areas.

Pot size: 2L
