Miscanthus sinensis ‘Rosi’

Regarded as a form of M. sinensis, but possibly a hybrid, this is one of the most attractive Miscanthus, with strong upright stems topped by large diffuse red-tinted flower heads in late summer/autumn, turning silvery-white in the sun. These are held well clear of the relatively broad foliage, which arches out elegantly from the clump and turns to a really superb mix of red, orange and yellow, with hints of burgundy, in autumn. Height 2m, or more if very happy. Sun and any reasonable soil.
