Monarda fistulosa

The Wild Bergamot is a common native across the USA and is a superb bee plant, with masses of rounded heads of pinkish-lilac flowers in July on stems to 110cm. Particularly fragrant foliage. For sun or semi-shade and most soils, though doesn't appreciate overly dry conditions.
