Neohymenopogon parasiticus

An exotic beauty we found in N Vietnam, related to Emmenopterys etc, with spectacular inflorescences of long tubed, hairy faced, jasmine-scented white flowers in summer, surrounded by long slim white bracts. Extremely rare in cultivation in the UK with exact hardiness not yet established, but has survived unscathed outside in a pot here at -6c so far. A deciduous small shrub.

Pot size: 2L
