Onychium sp. (japonicum of hort.)
Sold or passed around the UK for some years as O. japonicum, this is not that species, making a much taller plant up to about 80cm, with relatively erect fronds. With exceptionally fine and lacy fronds this beauty from E. Asia is hardy in milder areas and in inland positions requires a sheltered corner. Shade to open, brighter conditions if moist. The true identity is still unknown...
