Osmanthus heterophyllus ‘Kaori-hime’

This Japanese dwarf selection of this well known evergreen shrub is really very attractive. I've never been much of a fan of this species, but in this clone the tiny, perfectly formed, spiny dark-green leaves set off against rigid beige stems, and a mass of fragrant white flowers in Oct/Nov really tick all the boxes. Not only that, this slow growing form makes a dense specimen a mere 90cm by 60cm.
