Paeonia daurica subsp. coriifolia (syn. caucasica)

A distinct race of this fairly widespread species, the broad leaflets with attractive undulating margins. Rich fuchsia-pink single flowers with a boss of golden-yellow stamen produced on a plant 60cm high in May or June. Attractive seed heads in late summer. Hardy. Sun and well drained soil.
