Paeonia mlokosewitschii

Known as 'Molly the witch'. A classic garden perennial, making a bold clump of foliage, emerging with a soft red-purple wash before turning green. The gorgeous, almost globe like, soft yellow flowers are seen briefly in May, but are worth the wait every year and their briefness adds to their allure. Tough and hardy. For any well drained soil in sun or semi-shade.
