Panicum virgatum ‘Cardinal’
A compact selection of the American Switch grass, reaching just 90cm tall with excellent autumn colour and an upright habit. The light blue-grey-green foliage turns to vivid red in autumn. Diffuse sprays of tiny, purple tinted flowers are seen from mid-summer to early autumn. For any decent soil in sun. Very hardy.
