Peltoboykinia tellimoides

From the shady moist forests of Japan, this woodlander is grown for it's excellent broad, lobed foliage and creamy-white to softest pale-yellow shuttlecock flowers in early summer which rise above the leaves. Makes bold clumps and is an excellent contrast to delicate foliage, such as ferns, in the woodland garden or under trees or large shrubs in moisture retentive humus rich soil. Hardy.
