A very impressive and exceptionally dark form of Fountain grass, making rounded clumps of arching foliage. The fluffy 'tails' of flower are a deep blackish-purple and stand above the foliage from late summer into autumn. 1m. For a light, well drained soil in sun; not too excessively dry. Hardy.
