Philadelphus tomentosus

A purely Himalayan species with slightly hairy foliage, grey-felted under. The scented white flowers are borne in slender racemes in June. A medium sized shrub, as tough and easy as most Philadelphus. This collection from Western Arunachal Pradesh, NE India.
