Phyllostachys vivax ‘Aureocaulis’

Truly marvellous and jaw-droppingly impressive when mature, which doesn't take long from a small plant, as the huge thick culms seem to arise from nowhere. They are a rich warm-yellow with random deep-green vertical stripes, and the foliage is elegantly drooping and held high. Up to 6m or possibly more if very happy. Vigorous. This is a running bamboo so in most situations requires a rhizome barrier, which is very easily installed. Please enquire for method.
