Pistacia terebinthus NJM 10.004

A collection of the Chian turpentine Tree from SW Turkey, where this drought tolerant large shrub or small tree was found at the southernmost edge of the Taurus mountains at approx 1000m alt. For full sun and well drained soil, where autumn colour of the pinnate foliage should be a beautiful pale orange-red. Very succesful at Glasnevin BG, Dublin.
