Plectranthus ecklonii NJM 02.010

This rarely grown species was collected by me in South Africa. In the wild it formed large plants up to 1.8m, clambering up between tree ferns in semi-shade in the moist forests of the South coast. In this country it produces its pretty lilac, darker spotted flowers over a very long period, from spring till autumn. Best overwintered frost free. Great as a pot plant.
