Podophyllum ‘Kaleidoscope’

A Japanese selection of P. difforme or perhaps a hybrid of that species, named in the USA. Striking hexagonal green leaves heavily mottled and patterned with both dark and pale markings. Drooping very deep-red flowers in summer hang under the foliage. Height 50cm. For shade or semi-shade in good humusy soil, becoming dormant in summer. Hardy.
