Polypodium cambricum ‘Richard Kayse’

A lovely evergreen fern with deeply divided but neat, planar fronds discovered by Richard Kayse in 1668 growing on a sheer limestone cliff at Dinas Powys in South Wales. It is still there apparently. Any well drained soil, best in some shade. Spreads gently. Easy, tough and very beautiful. You need to see this in the garden to appreciate just how good it is. Height 25cm. Not often available!
