Polypodium glycyrrhiza x scouleri

Virtually unknown in cultivation, yet one of the finest of the genus. This presumably naturally occurring hybrid from the West coast of the USA makes large, fairly glossy, dark, evergreen fronds to approx 60cm/2ft long. Tough and easy in shade or semi-shade, or even full sun in moister areas.
