Citrus (Poncirus) trifoliata

The fully hardy 'Japanese Bitter Orange' makes a remarkable, slow growing, medium sized, shrub with armoured, virtually leafless deep-green stems and white, sweetly scented, orange blossom-like flowers in spring. Fruit like little yellow oranges produced after hot summers, or if planted in a very warm spot. Sun and well drained soil.

Pot size: 2L
