Quercus acutissima

Vigorous and handsome with shiny chestnut-like foliage, the Sawtooth oak from the Far East makes a fine tree in the UK, though is rarely planted. The narrowly oblong, bright green polished leaves are lined with bristle-tipped teeth and persist into winter. A medium sized tree in the UK.
