Quercus faginea ex Andalucía

An impressive oak from Southern Spain, collected originally near Gaucin. This makes a perfectly hardy small to medium evergreen tree of full, rounded form, with deeply fissured bark, the leaves with shallow, forward pointing lobes. Only ever really seen in specialist collections in the UK, for no good reason. Easy on most soil types.
