Quercus griffithii

Collected in Bhutan, this is a rare opportunity to purchase this Himalayan/SE Asian species which has only very recently been introduced to cultivation. The deciduous foliage is bold and up to about 20cm long, with shallow, forward pointing lobes. This oak prefers warmer summers and is not ideally suited to cool northern areas.
